Home Network
Every room in the house, OK , not all of them there is no network in the bathroom or dining room! has at least one of these jacks. Cat5 wiring carries 10baseT or 100BaseT. RG6 Carries TV and the cameras. Cat 3 Carries phone. All of these wires are home run into the network closet.
Here is the network closet. The block box in the upper right is the cable modem. the small box to the upper left is the web server you are reading this page from. It's a Unisys Aquanta, it makes a nice small Linux box.
Here is the network Closet closer. In the backround you see the Channel Plus 3025 Video Distribution system that mixes the Security Cameras with the TV video.
